As with the Arzo Mines, we once again had the opportunity to develop, produce and lay some informational and signpost elements in aluminum with a varnish similar to cor-ten, but this time for the Polo Museale Regionale di Lombardia for the Rocca Scaligera of Sirmione. A wonderful location on the Brescia shore of Lake Garda.
The aluminum with cor-ten effect is a perfect material to implement structures that need to remain outdoors for a long time, as its main characteristic is the guarantee of long duration. The aluminum refined with cor-ten is architectonically ideal in historical environments as this solution does not release rust, such as the real steel cor-ten could leave.
For the Scaligero Castle, we have realized and subsequently laid:
- Totem and informational plates of various sizes in aluminum with cor-ten effect. The shapes that recall the architecture of the castle have been created by us through engravings with the cutter, while the writing and pictographs have been realized in pre-spaced ivory adhesive, which are 3M adhesive films guaranteed for five years outdoors.
- Informational panels in aluminum hemmed and decorated with four-color printed adhesives and laminated against UV rays.
With this work we hope to have contributed to the realization of the appropriate signposts for visitors, without compromising the historic site, but rather bringing value to it.
